Offering downloads

Ever seen a site with downloads and wondered how you can offer them? Heres how...

Firstly make the download... If you have made some brushes? Or some smileys put them all in a folder and call it what you want.

Now you need to zip the folder you have just made with all your brushes/smileyes/whatever in it. Right click and then click 'send to' then click 'compressed zipped foler'. Now your folde is zipped! You should have two, one that isnt zipped and one that is. Keep the zipped one.

Now log in to your FTP And drag the zipped folder into your FTP. (if you use Net2FTP click 'upload' and then click 'browse' under 'files' and then upload).

Now you need the following code, copy and paste it into the page you want your download to display.


Okay now that is pasted you can get the URL of your download, just right click it in you FTP and click 'properties' and then the URL will come up, paste it in the code where it says DOWNLOADURL. And your done!
