Tips & tricks

Helping you out

These are just afew tips i have written myself! Do not copy and paste them! They are here to help you out.

1. Layout - Usually, better layouts are ones you have made your self. If you cant make your own layouts dont worry loads of sites offer layouts you can have. If you do make
your own, just make sure everything matches! Like the colours in the scrollbar, page border.. etc.

2. Be orginal - Just be orginal. If you see a site you like dont copy it! Never copy and paste sombody else work because one of your visitors will notice and tell everyone, then you will get a bad rep.

3. Colours - Make sure everything on your page matches in colours. You dont want a pink background with green borders and yellow scrollbar, people wont come back to your if it gives off a bad first impression.

4. Images - Only have one or two images on each page, you dont need loads! Or if you need more than one for any reason, make the image into a thumbnail so they look neater on your page, then people can click them to make them bigger.

5.Music - Music is great to have on a website! But the main rule is to not have it on autoplay! It really annoys people when they go on a site and cant turn the music off.

6. Text - Make sure all your text is readable, you dont want people not being able to read your text! I used to have all my text in upper case, now i hate upper case text, i think its takky.

7. Security - Make sure the password for your site is unguessible so people cant hack into your site. I think you should changed your password every now and again.

8. Neatness - I love neat sites, they always make me come back to look again. If your site is untidy try and tidy it up a little, by putting links and updates in tables. Back | Forward
